Geared Up?

I'm sat here watching Neighbours (as Ive done for 25 years .....mock away!!!) and one of the actors has a Glasgow Celtic shirt on and it got me thinking about how everyone gets their hands on what they want and how its changed since I became a Bronco fan in 1982. For what started as a few highlights on C4 has now turned into an obsessive  like hobby.
Cutting a long story short I picked my team based on relatives in the Denver area who were ardent fans and from there it was an addictive Mile High so to speak. I then got the bug and of course when a bug starts you need merchandise and things that a real sports must have.
The next thing is then working out how you can get an Elway or just a Bronco Tee-shirt from the thousand miles of pond water. Now thinking back to those "old fashioned" days without the Internet ,I wonder how life ever existed.You had no idea what was on offer or what fans wore to games. How did I do it back then ,well I waited until my Grandma flew over there and hoped she would bring me a Bronco souvenir back .
It then developed into tee shirts ,caps ,hoodies and cups. Then as the Internet slowly but surely developed and websites for Bronco fans started being born then the Bronco needs become more and more.I went to Phoenix around 1999 (i think) and there I found a shop in a mall that sold NFL stuff .It was there I purchased my first jersey ..ROMANOWSKI. I wore it everywhere and the friends I had who like the NFL were all jealous I had a jersey.
Nowadays the world for long distance fans of any team or sport for that matter is a click away. Ive purchased stuff off eBay ,I still get my mum to get me jerseys ,hell I had her chase everywhere for an orange Tebow jersey last year, Ive stumbled on gear in TKmax of all places and my last and proudest possession is now a #18 orange Manning jersey which I got from Mike on the NFL MERCHANDISE UK and now I'm ready to have day out in the sunshine where I can gloat and show it off like a big baby ,heck I may even wear it over my bike jacket next time I go for a ride. I'm even thinking of having a BRONCOBLUE 69  one made up haha.

How do you all get your stuff ,if your a long distance fan ? is it a similar story to mine or do you have any other ways you would like to share and by other ways I don't mean mugging someone :)..

The OOA Guide To Denver

I am trying to put together a "visitors" guide of things to do in and around the Denver area for us "out of towners". Whether your a local from Denver or from the other side of the pond like me ,feel free to share your experiences, tips,do'es and donts,restaurant views,bar reviews or hotel reviews ,How to tickets,LET ME HAVE IT. My experience from what I remember in 2004 is a drunken haze if I'm honest. I went over for 1 week just before Halloween and one my lasting memories of how BIG Halloween actually is in the USA. I stayed at my aunts who lived at the time in Craig .Craig if I remember is about a four hour drive over the Mountains and what a beautiful drive it is.My dads ashes are actually scattered on Rabbit Ears Pass the most amazing viewing point there is,to say it spectacular is actually an understatement. We stayed at the out of town Red Lion Hotel , it is a basic hotel but very friendly. A really good plus point for the hotel especially for people who fly in is that there is a regular shuttle free of charge to the airport. I got my tickets off a girl off the orangemane and we was sat in the South Stand ,it was awsome. Afterwards we went to a restaurant downtown and I have unfortunately no idea what it was called . WHAT IN THE CHICKEN NUGGETS IS GOING ON?

As the title says what the hell is going on at Ewood. You couldn't make it up really.I know i have wrote,rambled and ranted over the past few months over our farcical owners,manager and the other no hopers involved in our circus,no circus is the wrong word as circuses are fun and enjoyable...NIGHTMARE IS MORE APT.
We have the alleged "spokesman" going on India networks(looking like hes escaped from a nuthouse) saying "don't worry" "we will do what it takes" "it will be sorted in a month". Even now in the middle of June these despicable clueless no marks in Pune have not once had the common decency to say SORRY!! In my little world that is very disrespectful and shows contempt for the fans of their "baby".
We have "gobalmighty" or is it GOD ALMIGHTY himself,who for some strange reason has gone eerily quiet and that scares the ebergeebies out of me. How this complete FAILURE  cannot be sacked leaves a chicken turd in ones mouth at the craziness of it all. He calls Big Sam a f88888g crook and that was the reason why he was sacked and still the polished turd is teflonised.
The next instalment of the" Lunes From Pune Have Taken Over The Asylum Saga" involves a PRESTON NOB ENDER  being made Venkys Puppet In Command ,Paul Agnew . He is a hack who used to write in LEP and was writing negativly about the Rovers if memory is right.(if not sorry hes still a nobender) .Hes refused meeting with Protest Groups and is an all round puppet.I read t'inernetwebby rumour that Simon Hunt and Karen Silk only learnt of this by media outlets..

What is their end game ? I honestly have no idea and it hurts my head to try and fathom what it is. There are rumours that the owd hag (red dotted bint to thee n me) wants to increase season and match tickets by 40% ( mind you that's 20% less than CSA do :P) and that's the reason why 9 weeks before the new season and season tickets are not being sold. If this is true then what sort of IDIOTS have we running our once proud club. If there end game is to completely shaft us and bleed us dry , then why are there reports ( Andy Cryer) that they have allegedly said no ones leaving.It is barmy .
We have fans falling out with one another and fans publically slagging one another , for buying season tickets. My view on all this is that I AM AND ALWAYS WILL BLEED BLUENWHITE AND THE INSANITIES OF THE VENKYS WILL NOT DRIVE ME OUT. People are popping at fans saying that anyone buying season tickets are pro- Venkean and the owners , I categorically state I HATE KEAN ,VENKYS,AGNEW,ANDERSON,SINGH AND ANYONE WHO STICKS UP FOR THE STRAIGHT JACKETTED RETARDS. I ask anyone who says this and is boycotting  ,how much protesting have you done thus far? Have you marched? were you outside Brockhall on transfer deadline day in sub zero tempratures? Did you stay behind after games?
There are even fans who NEVER attend who are slagging people off for renewing their tickets and this winds the balls off me . How can someone call for boycotts who never goes in the first place,,,that's not boycotting that's doing the same old same old.
